..a few i forgot...

Well....to sum it up, Hawaii was amazing! We were supposed to be there for about 2 weeks, but decided while we were there that we would make it worth our while ;) We stayed from March15-April14 and we loved every minute. Ok. Not the minutes when the kids were fighting, but at least they were fighting in HAWAII!!! We spent so much time at the beach and pool just relaxing! It was exactly what the kids wanted to do. Just swim swim swim and play in the sand. Carson turned 3 while we were there! It was great to be able to celebrate a birthday with him!! HappyBirthday Carson! Olivia learned to stand on her own, and got fatter and fatter while we were staying with them. HA! She is so much fun to be around! The kids and I ventured out to the Dole plantation and the PCC, and we went with Meg and the kids to Waimea Valley and to the Honolulu Zoo! Andy watched all the kids while Meg and I went to the swap meet and found us some treasures. The kids and I stayed at the Marriot Beach Resort for 2 nights, just for a change of scenery for the kids. They loved the kiddie pool-which had sand just like the beach-and the activities they got to do, like painting coconuts to drink out of! I think our favorite part is just being able to spend time with the Sears family, though. We sure miss them when we have to leave!! I wish they were closer but can't complain when we get to go visit their house in paradise.
Thanks for all the fun Meg, Andy, Carson and Olivia!! See you soon!

PCC in Hawaii

The PCC introduced a new Night Show a few months before we got to Hawaii! The kids absolutely loved it, and so did I! It was an amazing story of all the stages of life, from birth to death, told by all the dances from the many cultures that make up the islands. Ha! Breath of Life is definitely worth seeing if you are over in Oahu!

We were able to spend Easter with our Hawaiian family this year! It was so much fun! The kids had 3 seperate Easter egg hunts (I know.... enough candy already!) and the Easter bunny found us in Hawaii...even though we were supposed to be home already! :) It was so much fun to be able to spend the Holiday with Meg, Andy, Cars and Livvy!!

HAWAII!!!

A few collages I made so that you don't have to go thru 800 pictures! We stayed for a full month in Hawaii with Meg, Andy, Carson and Olivia! We had so much fun while we were there!! I will do more collages and a post of about everything we did while we were there. We were so sad to have to leave!!

:: happy birthday Cash ::

My little Cash man turned 3 on Feb22, 2010. I cannot stand it!! He is growing up so fast, and it's so hard to believe he's already three years old. He has been so much fun to have; he's so sweet and tender hearted, and yet he's still ALL BOY! His favorites at age 3 are:
Anything Cowboy
Macaroni and Cheese & Spaghetti
Playing "bull riding"
Handy Manny
"Big Green Tractor" song
It's hard to believe that its already been 3 years since I brought him home with us. That chubby little 8lb 8oz baby with the growly cry (the doctor said "he's going to scare all the other babies with that cry!") seems to have grown up way too fast. I'm so glad he still has his little giggle, his puppy dog eyes, and that he still loves to snuggle mommy when he's tired. I'm hoping to hang on to that just a little bit [see: a LOT] longer!
I love you Cashy! Happy Birthday buddy!

Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009 was so much fun! My kids both asked for the same things from Santa...they both wanted guitars and microphones! (of course, only a drumset could be louder!) But being such good little kids, Santa fulfilled their wishes and they are both little musicians now. Brittney didn't have her kids on Christmas Eve this year, so she got to come up and stay with us! It was fun to have her here Christmas morning!! We always love Christmas time; family, friends, food, the Spirit of the Season, gingerbread houses, Christmas lights, the tree, SNOW! We love it all! My goal for next year's Christmas is to keep it so low stress that I don't wish it to be over before it's even there! :) Merry Christmas all! [just a weeeee little bit late!]

long time comin'

Well... I know I've taken quite a break from blogging, but I'm getting back at it. Beware of the coming posts... I have to go clear back until Christmas to catch us up!! I won't post a million things, but I'll give you the basic idea of what our past 6 months have been like!

Enjoy!
