,,,,,the run down,,,,,

Christmas was great this year! We went to the Anderson's on Christmas Eve for the usual--prime rib dinner, thanks to Ty, and presents for the kids! This year we also added a new tradition; lighting candles for Jeremy. The kids and I put a little tree by his grave the week before, and on Christmas Eve we all went over and lit candles for him. It turned out beautiful.
Then we headed to Mom and Dad's house (Gamma and Papa) to do Christmas Eve Jammies! YAY! Then it was home to bed.....
Santa came and the kids had so much fun with all their new things. We slept in the longest of the family, and Brit called at 8 wondering where we were....STILL opening gifts (we had a secret Santa this year.... how incredibly nice!!) Once the kids were done we headed over to Mom and Dads to eat mom's famous french pancakes and open more gifts. After we went home for a few hours, a shower and a nap, we went back to Mom and Dad's for Christmas Dinner and games.
It was so much fun! And we're so thankful to be so close to family during the holidays. (So glad Meg Andy and Carson could come home too!) Love you all!

~*~pictures from christmas~*~

[:Santa Stopped Here :]

Santa stopped here...and he was so nice! He spoiled the kids, and they loved everything! Cash got lots of tools, cars, and trucks---just what he wanted! He especially loves the "nin-nins" (motorcycles). Preslee got lots of art stuff, Barbies and babies; she always loves stuff like that! And they both got adorable clothes. Santa out-did himself this year!

Ok Ok.... it's technically Gingerbread Land... and it was so fun to make! We did these the night of Brit's birthday party. Good times! We missed Meg and Andy here though, we all know what pro's they are at Gingerbread Architecture! :)

SHOP WITH A COP

Preslee was nominated to be apart of Shop with a Cop this year! How nice, and she was so excited to go...especially since Uncle Brandon was the one taking her. We met at Kmart at 6am, they got into the cop cars with lights and sirens on.. they headed up the highway, down canyon road and to a breakfast... then back to Kmart they went for a little shopping fun! Preslee is so sweet and got a few things for her baby brother and even a surprise for Mommy!!
She's such a sweet girl. And she had so much fun!

>santa claus is comin' to town<

We went to the Anderson Family Christmas Party early this month. It was alot of fun, and of course Santa made an appearance. The kids loved him... Well, at least Preslee did! Cash loved him from afar. Since they've been such good kids, Santa brought them a little gift as a preview to Christmas morning.... Preslee got a Pediatrician Barbie complete with 2 'sick' babies and doctor equipment, and Cash got a Thomas the Train! He loves his ChooChoo

:: marshmallow man ::

Cash is normally a huge eater. He out-eats Preslee alot of meals.... he can down 2 bowls of cereal for breakfast.... But yesterday for dinner he would not eat anything but a couple of chips. We headed to Tye's wrestling match and then both of my cute kids fell asleep in the car on the way home; which equals no real dinner for Cash. He woke up at 11:00p last night crying, and wouldn't stop. He kept pointing in the kitchen but wouldn't take anything I was offering him. I think his belly hurt because he was so hungry.... he finally decided on something to eat:
MINI MARSHMALLOWS!

He was so tried his eyes would close with each treat he put in his mouth. He literally fell asleep with his arm in the bag, but when I tried to move it he woke up and ate a few more. He wouldn't let me take the bag away. I just had to show you my cute little
MARSHMALLOW MAN

thanksgiving

Well, I didn't really take pictures on Thanksgiving-dang it-but I did have to post and say that my parents made a great Thanksgiving dinner, yet again. And it was alot of fun just to be there. Uncle Scott came into town and joined us--we always love seeing him! Even if it was just for dinner.
I tried my luck at being Betty Crocker for a day and made 3 homemade pies (even made the cherry filling!)... pumpkin, cherry and banana cream. They turned out yummy, if I do say so myself ;)
We took some of the pie over to Ty and RaShel's house where Tim and Jayne were... it was good to visit with them again too.

Just wanted to make sure I put my little post about how Thankful I truly am for all my family and friends! This time of year is when we all express it the most; and this year it is especially important to me. I love you guys!

...his soul is at peace...

I know most people already know this, but I wanted to just put a little post about Jeremy. He chose to go to heaven on Nov. 11 so that he could finally get some peace from his battle with depression. Here is the link to his obituary. http://www.walkerfamilymortuary.com/index.cfm

Thanks to everyone who has shown their love and support to us during this tragic time. I know Jeremy will be missed by so many people...especially our kids. "Love you the mostest, cinnamon toastest"

We love and miss you Jeremy!
